Hillcrest Country Club is a private 9-hole golf club near Adel, Iowa that overlooks the scenic Raccoon River Valley. The golf course is a par 70 with 5 alternate tee boxes which provides you the feel of playing an 18-hole layout. The course is fully irrigated and has a large pond that comes into play on your tee and approach shot on #8 and #17. Another unique feature of Hillcrest is that tee times aren’t required, so you and your friends or families can walk on and play at your convenience.
Hillcrest Country Club was voted the best 9-hole course in Iowa in 2004, due to its well manicured tees, fairways, and greens and its beautiful rolling landscape. The club was established in 1956 and has a clubhouse with banquet facilities and a grill. It offers private golf cart storage for a majority of its members and also has golf cart rental available. There are men’s and women’s league available during the summer and fall season. In addition, couples twilight, men’s and women’s club tournaments, adult/child outing and numerous other golf events are offered during the season.
The course is located about 15 minutes west of I35/I80, just north of Hickman Road/Highway 6 between Waukee and Adel.
